Jeep Network Commercial Flying Tiger Films : Sketch Artist and Lead Scenic Hand drawn concept sketch One day as sketch artist. Dick Carter was the art director for this Flying Tiger Film network Jeep commercial. Faxing hand drawn pencil sketches generated from the art directors digital photographs were the fastest way to get the look back to the ad agency. for This sketch shows the work needed on the existing house- remove the wooden fence, build a patio, create a garage with automatic door and build a dirt road. Four additional sketches showing front of house make overs along the street were also drawn and faxed on the same day. |

The Location dressed for the shoot
Three days as Lead Scenic One day Camera Scenic. Work was done on this location while the film crew was filming on Aspen Mountain and on several mountain pass roads. Three Carpenters and two Scenics created a false front for the actual garage door and a working "fake" electric garage door in the back of the house. There was also railing atttached, a false patio built, a chimney to paint, three other houses to modify on the same block and a lot of greens work. |
